Griddled Tuna Melt

Preparation

This healthy snack can either be griddled or grilled. It’s the ultimate in fast food and is perfect served with cress, cucumber or crispy little gem leaves.

Serves 1.

1. Preheat a griddle pan.

2. Mash the Tuna, natural yogurt or pesto and cheese together and spread evenly on one slice of bread. Top with the other slice of bread and press together well.

3. Place in the griddle pan and toast for 3-4 minutes until golden. Flip over and toast the other side.

4. Cut in half on the diagonal and serve warm topped with cress.

• If grilling, place under a preheated grill and turn half way through toasting until golden and cheese starts to melt and ooze.
