The distinctive flavour of our traditional Granary® bread comes from the malted wheat flakes which are slowly toasted and flaked. This gives the loaf a distinctive nutty taste. Hovis® Granary® has been around for over 60 years, although the traditional process used to produce the malted wheat flakes dates back several hundred years and is believed to have been discovered by the Benedictine Monks of Burton Abbey.                                                                                                                                                                   Uniquely Granary®.
