Treat yourself to some Hovis Seed Sensations bread this Autumn and you’ll be helping to raise £100,000 for The Royal British Legion. A 4p donation will be made to The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal for every special bag of Hovis Seed Sensations bread (800g Rich & Roasted and 800g Light & Nutty) sold between 17th October and 13th November 2011. 

Hovis has chosen to support The Royal British Legion because of its history of helping British servicemen and women. In 1941, Hovis provided a Spitfire plane to the RAF for its WW2 effort. The plane was named Hominis Vis, Latin for ‘the strength of man’ and the inspiration for the Hovis brand name 

For 90 years The Royal British Legion have been there to support all who have served, and are serving, in the British Armed Forces and their families.  They safeguard the welfare, interests and memory of all of our serving and ex-servicemen and women and are the custodians of Remembrance.
