Each cross-curricular scheme of work is presented in an easy to follow format featuring teaching and learning objectives, teacher exposition, key questions and suggestions for phased differentiated activities. Specific links to teaching and learning requirements are identified throughout.

A Taste of History
Developed with the support and enthusiasm of practising teachers “A Taste of History” uses the richness of the Hovis advert content as a teaching tool and provides a scheme of work to support the teaching of: Literacy, History and Design Technology.
SCIENCE MODULE - “Them Bones”
A contemporary, interactive and lively resource providing opportunities for pupils to learn about bones and skeletons including:
- Naming the bones of the human body
- Identifying the make-up of bones and the healing process
- Food and nutrition as it relates to growth
PE/SPORT - “Flex for Fun”
An interesting mix combining Sport, Design Technology and Science, enables pupils to learn about and apply their understanding of the link between diet, exercise strength and fitness.
